The Elders shall comprise the ruling body of the church and shall have the power and authority to act in behalf of the church except as limited by the constitution.

Elder Board

The elders' duties are placed throughout the New Testament. One significant feature is the plurality. This is God's way of overcoming individual weaknesses. The administrative direction of the church is under the daily control of the pastor who is a vocational elder. They protect and promote Biblical truths in the program, pastor, and serve as examples in the use of their special spiritual abilities.

Deacon Board

The deacons' activities likewise encompass a broad range of work essential to the proper function of the Church. The facilities and finances are the primary areas of concern; however, special abilities in other than these physical matters have been manifested. The joy of the Lord is the strength of the men who care for these things and allow others to study, pray, and minister the Word of God.
